Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is a well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina started her career as a writer with the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy documents. While she found it to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she dropped interest and bought a tiny specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make her store very successful, before letting it go before putting pen to paper for her first novel. A number of other books and magazine articles followed. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also debuted which was an enormous hit. The company also offers a wide range of product from cooking ingredients to storage containers, equipment and other kitchen items. Ina did not go to a cookery class nor did she worked in the restaurant industry. She is a complete self-taught. She is known for her simple approach to making food and her unpretentious approach to entertainment. Her most famous recipes are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
